Story

My Wife Angie sadly passed away on Tuesday 9 October 2018 Angie suffered with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) a rare form of Parkinson's after being diagnosed in 2010,

Angie had required adaptions to property and equipment for Angie's quality of life, we recently moved into supported accommodation, the adaptions and needs took all our saving's, i finished work in 2013 to become her full time carer.

I have applied for a social fund pay-out but have been told i may not be entitled as i need to be on a means tested benefit, we both updated our insurances early this year so it is not eligible to pay out as not been in force for 12 months so i am having to take this drastic action in the hope that i can raise enough funds to be able to pay the costs, i would sell the car but it is Motability and has been recalled

if i do cover it through this and am lucky enough to get the social fund pay-out i will put the money to St Johns Hospice / MSA Parkinson's Research

Thanks very much for any help you can give and your understanding.
