I'm raising £1,000 for a funeral/memorial
On 22nd November, Gerry died suddenly, without any warning. His wife Sharon and their children are obviously shocked and stunned by this loss.
Gerry was a well known figure in Scottish pool, playing in amongst others Glasgow, Motherwell and Uddingston. Furthermore He was responsible for setting up and running many youth charities in Glasgow. The kids of the East end of Glasgow particularly benefitted from the invaluable centres of Fuse in Shettleston and The Pavillion.
A true family man, a larger than life figure with a wicked sense of humour, his loss will be felt deeply by everyone who knew him. Not many people give as much to the community as Gerry did and his life touched hundreds , if not thousands of people. The tributes pouring in show how much everyone thought of him.
Obviously the family were unprepared for this kind of tragedy, so I would love this opportunity for us all to help ease Sharon’s worries and give back something to a guy who helped so many. Please share far and wide for this most deserving of people.
