I've raised £1000 to pay for Brian's leg surgery

Brian is a smaller sized stunning Lurcher boy with a huge personality!! He has a zest for life that defies his awful start in life. Found abandoned at approximately 5 months old,, Brian came to the care of Hector's Greyhound Rescue. His leg was horrifically smashed, possibly in a car accident but we can’t be sure.
Brian required several complex surgeries to repair the awful injuries to his front leg. To save the leg, the only option was to allow the front wrist joint to fuse therefore, little Brian walks with one flat foot. Eventually a metal plate was inserted to help the bone fuse together. You would think this would hold him back but Brian is an absolute trooper and lets nothing stop him enjoying life. He can run super fast and loves doing zoomies! He will at times lift the leg if he’s feeling tired but he never complains about it. He really is quite a remarkable little lad who inspires me every day with his joy for life and learning.
Brian's Vets bill (so far) has totalled a whopping £2164.68 but we honestly feel he, like every other dog we help, is worth every penny! His happiness and love for life, his silky velvet fur, his wonderfully cheeky but ever affectionate nature, along with his complete pleasure at eating all my socks makes him one of a kind.
I am hoping to raise as much as possible for Hector's Greyhound Rescue towards the cost of his ongoing bills. Please please help if you can, sharing the story will help so much if you can't donate.
Alternatively if you prefer to donate directly to Hector's please go to www.hectorsgreyhoundrescue.org and donate via the website or Facebook page marking your donation 'Brian'
Thank You!
