Story

Whoof, my name's Presley! I'm currently training to be the good'est boy and working towards my level 2 Dog AID certificate, which means I will be allowed to go everywhere with Jess, my bestie! She uses a wheelchair due to a muscle-wasting condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. I'm already able to pick things up for her and am in the process of learning how to open doors and press buttons. This is all due to the help of two volunteers, Dave and Tina. They are teaching me all the commands I need to know to achieve my assistance dog certificates.

Disaster has struck! The training centre is due to be demolished. I am no longer able to see my best pals Dave and Tilly (another service dog in training). Dave and Tina are desperate to continue helping me and Tilly to be the most helpful pups ever. However, their new training centre currently isn't wheelchair accessible. How are me and Tilly ever going to go to the cinema with our mums to see the new Secret Life of Pets (I need to be updated on those pet scandals)?

Extensive building work needs to be taken out on the new training centre to widen doorways and level the ground so all wheelchairs can easily access the building. Some training activities are best completed in a safe environment, like the dog school, before we test it out in scary places like the pub. This makes training elsewhere difficult and we'd love to get back to the safety of our training centre. It's my favourite place to be! They have lots of sausages on hand.

Please help me and my friends to be the best dogs we can be. :)

Love and licks, Presley and Tilly 🐾

PS. we miss Dave and Tina!
