    Story

    ANIMALS FOR ANIMALS

I created Animals For Animals as a very simple way for your beloved animal at home to show their support for their fellow brothers and sisters in Ukraine.

Perhaps your dog wants to give up some treats for a week, and donate that money. Or maybe your cat wants donate an amount equal to one weeks food.

No matter how small, or how large, it all adds up, and is needed.

When the animals of the world come together and stand with the animals of the Ukraine, their collective support really will make a huge difference in Ukraine - and their collective voice against war started by humans will be heard.

Make sure you upload a photo or video as a post or story of your animal to your social channels and GIF search "@animalsforanimals" to add the animated Animals For Animals stickers. I can't wait to see some creative clips and photos of your animal showing their love.

Tag in @animalsforanimals.world on your posts on Instagram. We'll want to share posts from animals around the world, highlighting their amazing support - we want to build a animal army for peace.

Funds from this campaign go to UAnimals, a Ukraine registered animal welfare charity. Funds will be distributed by UAnimals direct to animals and their carers on the ground who are in need, and know what is needed, now, and in the coming weeks and months.

I have just arrived in Ukraine, and will be supporting UAnimals with their work on the ground. I'll also be sharing stories at @animalsforanimals.world on Instagram. It's important to be on the ground and really understand what the need is, now, and for the future.

In the coming months and years shelters will need rebuilding, long-term care for displaced animals will be required, and support animals finding new forever homes when they can't be reunited with their families.

All donations from this campaign after transaction charges set by Just Giving (2.9% + 25p per donation) will be transferred to UAnimals.

***Please note this campaign is on Just Giving, a UK based crowdfunding platform, and donations made are in British Pounds, not your home currency - please do currency conversion before deciding your donation amount, as the amount in the donation box won't be the same amount charged to your card***

Thanks so much for your support and we can't wait to read messages here from the animals. If you post a message with your donation it would be great to post in the name of your animal and have the message from them :)

Hello everyone, and thanks so much for your support I've departed Ukraine and returned home. My time in Ukraine was insightful, upsetting, but also inspiring. I was made to feel so welcome by everyone I met, and I have to really thank UAnimals for looking after me in what were, and still are challenging times. UAnimals continue to do their remarkable work supporting the animals in Ukraine, and together we'll keep raising money for them. Thanks, Tim

Hi, Tim here in Kyiv. First off, my word, what an amazing group of people you are to have taken time out of your day to come here and support this little idea for a big need. It's really heartwarming. I'm working my way through all your messages and will respond to each of you personally. The photo I took here is at Sirius Shelter, north of Kyiv heading towards Chernobyl. This is the shelter with over 3000 dogs, many being new to the shelter since the war started. Let's keep going and please share what we are doing together. Thanks, Tim

We made dog Bandanas to sell to raise funds for this charity. It was a school project for Lucy and Jane was her mentor. We thoroughly enjoyed this project working together for such an amazing charity.
