Story

Who we are

I'm raising funds for Hague Explained CIC, a nonprofit community interest compamy based in England that Sara and I started. Hague Explained is dedicated to raising awareness about the impacts of the Hague Abduction Convention. We don’t work directly with families, instead, we educate, inform, and advocate through interactive workshops, media outreach, speaking engagements, and lobbying efforts.

Why we need your support

Our work is powered by both earnings and donations. As a Community Interest Company, we reinvest all income into public benefit activities. Your support helps us:

Run workshops that inform professionals and the public.

Create accessible materials that explain complex legal processes.

Collaborate with charities across Europe to help them better support individuals who may be affected by a Hague case, whether they are navigating one now or have already been through it.

Advocate for policy change that prioritises children's welfare and human rights.

How your donation helps

Any donation or grant contributes directly to our ability to offer clear, reliable information to those who need it and to the organisations that support them. We’ll share general updates on how funds are used and the difference they make.

Thank you for standing with us.

Together, we can build a more informed and compassionate response to international child abduction.
