    Story

I am a 36 year old woman with several rare diseases. Due to the symptoms and severity and fluctuations of my diseases I require a 24 hour presence as I can asphyxiate by choking on food or drink, seizure or collapse. I have always had a personal carer which cheashire east social services funded. Due to the error of a social worker my care plan was completely messed up. I escaped a domestically violent relationship 11 months ago and my personal carer has supported myself and my children. Last November I was verbally assaulted in my home and threatened by a Social Worker, I had began to seizure due to the fact she told me she was taking my personal carer away, when I told her I was beginning to seizure she stood over me in a threatening manner and said "GOOD".
I have been fighting to keep my personal carer without avail. They are offering me two calls a day from commissioned services although they are aware that I could be in danger of dying in between calls. They are also aware I am frightened to have strangers in my home due to the domestic abuse my children and I suffered and also due to the attack from the Social Worker. If I have two calls per day I will be tied to my home unable to live an independent life as a young woman and mothet.
I rIecently gave birth to a baby at 24 weeks gestation whom is in NICU at Arrowe Park. Without my carer I am unable to be with my baby. My carer has continued to work unpaid but can no longer afford to do so. I have known my carer for sixteen years, I know my children are safe around my carer, and I'm given the personal support to help me try to make meals, go outside with my children etc.
I am making an urgent appeal for help to be able to fund my personal carers wage for as long as possible. They were being paid £1736 per month but are prepared to stay and work full time 7 days per week for £1000 per month.
I am a very humble person. I have always been a giver never a taker but I'm in a desperate situation to be able to keep my carer. With a poorly premature baby I need to be able to be with him but without a carer I am not able to stay at the accommodation provided for me due to the risks involved.
Please please help me to keep my carer for as long as possible, and to be able to be with my baby.
There is no other help available to me in my situation.
I have made another complaint to social services, I do intend to also take it to the Ombudsman as well as looking at seeing a solicitor for a case of severe neglect and abuse from Cheshire East Adult Social Services. But I cannot concentrate on this until my baby is better. My carer can no longer continue to work unpaid. After being assaulted by the previous social worker I was told the case was being fought for me to keep my carer, this hasn't happened, Advocacy have not even contacted me, they left my carer and I for months hoping it would go through, continued to let my carer work with promises of payments which have never arrived and now told me I cannot keep my carer although they have admitted I am being punished for the errors of two previous social workers.
I am very high risk of further domestic abuse, of which social services are also aware and stated themselves in writing and in a MARAC mesting, yet they wish to send strangers into mine and my children's home.
Please please can I ask for even the smallest of donations to keep my carer for as long as possible and enable me to be with my premature baby.
I am grateful to everyone who reads my story and donates to help me keep my carer.
With sincere thanks from mine and my children's hearts, without a personal carer my life is in danger and it will not allow me to be the mother I need and want to be.
    Please help, sincerest thanks xxxxx
