Mia has been offered a once in a lifetime, 4 week long, volunteering expedition to Kenya in the summer of 2019. During this journey she will be taking part in a number of projects divided into 3 categories: community work, environmental preservation and working towards a paddy open water certificate in scuba diving. The activities she will be participating in range from building new facilities/buildings in local communities, educating children in rural villages, increasing the value of wildlife and hibitats and helping to preserve the unique environment. Mia has the huge task of raising the money herself to fund this trip. Every penny she earns will go towards the total cost - £4000!!
