Story

Hi, my name is Anjali. I'm trying to raise £3,490 for my trip to Zambia and Botswana in Africa in 2020! I'll be doing some extraordinary things like helping build houses, visiting locals, going to see Victoria Falls, camping, learning and embracing the culture, going on a safari, as well as much more! We will have to find our own accommodation, cook our own food and make our own way everywhere! I would love it if you could help me raise the money- every donation counts!

The picture below shows what is included on my trip. As part of the exploring aspect, we will learn key survival skills, such as making string from fibre etc. and learn about animal tracking and study the wildlife we see.

The challenge section shows how this trip offers lots of trekking activities. We will explore the Okavanga delta and look at local floral and fauna whilst on foot during wildlife safaris.

The contributing aspect is about aiding locals and contributing to local schools as well as refurbishing housing, classrooms and libraries etc. to help improve learning for children.

During this trip there will also be time for us to chill out and visit the spectacular Victoria Falls, the largest waterfall in the world. We will also receive the unique experience of walking alongside animals, including lions and elephant.

The money you donate towards my trip will help me achieve my goal of £3,490, and help me experience a one in a lifetime opportunity - every donation counts!
