I've raised £2000 to raise money for my daughter's friend after the California brush fires. In the process of getting my daughter to safety, he lost his home.

Story

On October 26th 2018, my 18 year old daughter (see profile picture) took her first holiday abroad, to meet a friend of hers that lives in Paradise, California. Or at least he did until November 8th.

When the evacuation was ordered, he, along with my daughter, very quickly left his house.

The friend, Kelton Bower, in the process of keeping my daughter safe, then spent 2 days making sure that my daughter made it to San Francisco airport safely so that on November 10th, she could fly home as planned. My daughter's possessions were destroyed in the fire, but Kelton lost everything, including his home. Within 45 minutes of them leaving the house, it had been destroyed.

I would dearly love to raise as much money as possible to send to him, to help his family as they try and rebuild their lives.

No amount of thank yous will ever be enough to show may gratitude to him for keeping my daughter safe, but I have to try and do something. Without him and his family doing what he did, it is very possible that I would have lost my daughter. They saved my girl, please help me try and say thank you.

Many thanks.
