    Story

    Asalamualaikum brothers & sisters
Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
On Eid, we unexpectedly lost our beautiful dear brother, Anjum Saddique to a sudden heart attack.
Anjum was only 35 yrs old. He was a well known, unique, & a highly respected individual who was a pillar of the Bury community. He was always there for others & sincerely fulfilled his obligations as a Muslim to help those in need. He played an instrumental role in the running of the local mosque & was given the task of co-ordinating funeral arrangements of many local people.
Anjum himself became an orphan at the age of 2. Despite this he was always smiling & grateful for everything he had. If you were feeling low, he would surely lift your spirits & make you smile. A kind & gentle soul. He leaves behind a wife & 4 children, the youngest who ironically is only 2 yrs old too. As you can imagine they are totally devastated & heartbroken by his loss. His passing has shocked the whole community. In the words of the local imam

“the one who used to make everyone laugh, has today made us cry. He was loved by everyone, child, middle aged & older. He used to arrange funerals and today we are arranging his”

We have set up this page to help raise money to take some financial burden off his wife and children, during this very difficult time. His wife does not have a big family network & relied on Anjum for everything. Also, Anjums last dying wish was his son becomes a hifz e Quran. We want to make this come true. We are making a plea for you to find it in your heart to give them all the support they can get & help them as any Muslim brother & sister would do for you. However much or little you can donate, please do so.
Prophet Muhammad SAW said “The one who looks after a widow is like a Mujahid who fights for Allahs cause, or like him who performs prayers all night & fasts all day”

May Allah grant him the highest rank in Jannah & reward you in abundance for your contributions. Ameen.
    Al Fatiha.

*UPDATE* JazkAllah Khairan for all generous contributions so far, may Allah reward you. Since setting up, we've reviewed Anjums finances & have come to realise that to ensure security for his wife & children we need to raise the target to 215K. Anjum had no life insurance or mortgage protection so this is in order to pay off his mortgage & ensure his children have the security of a roof over their head & can maintain some normality by living in their fathers house; surrounded by his memories. Insha'Allah with your support we can achieve this
