Story
We have a Peoples Garden at The Hub in Barnard Castle.It is free for everyone to enjoy pick the free produce and learn gardening skill. We achieved this by grant aid and have won several awards Including “outstanding” from the Royal Horticultural Society.We employed an artist to run free art sessions in the garden and this has proved to be extremely popular with all ages and abilities. Our Project is called Veg Out In Barney and we have a Facebook page showing photos of the garden and the artist at work. I have been able to keep things going by applying for grants but my health is not good and I don‘t have the ability to continue .The art group are pleading with me to keep going. Please help us.
