Cairngorm Mountain Rescue provides assistance to injured or lost persons in and around the Cairngorm Mountains. The team is made up of entirely of volunteers who give up their own time. They rely on fundraising to keep the equipment up-to-date and the team safe.

Staying in our wee cabin at Rothiemurcus we quite often hear the helicopter on its way to help. Archie would really like to raise some money to donate, by climbing up the Cairngorm Mountain next weekend with his Dad, and If you know Archie you will know this is not his idea of a fun day!
