Hi im Ann-marie and i have gastroparesis.
Gastroparesis is a neurological digestive disorder where the digestive system doesnt work properly. It means when i eat or drink it doesnt go through my stomach fast enough. It results in pain,nausea, weight loss, malabsorbtion, low blood pressure, and vomiting. There is limited medication and many end up on a feeding tube as there is no cure.
Im raising money for giftuk the only british charity which helps with research in the this little known rare condition. I have not eaten a plate of food since the 6th of january this year and ive been in and out of hospital many times.
