Story
Ashford Breast Cancer Support Group was started 20 years ago by four breast cancer patients at Ashford Hospital with the help of Macmillan Nurses. They felt that there was a real need for patients to have a place where they could talk with others who had been treated for, or who were undergoing treatment for breast cancer, as well as getting support and advice about their illness.
I will be taking part in a 10K walk along the river with other members of ABC Support Group to help the group to continue with the good work they do.
