Story

Holly had Pneumonoccal meningitus at 8 weeks old in 2005, although Holly did very well we were always told there could be complications. Holly then suffered a bit of a bad time between 2009 to 2012 which affected her mental health. Although the GP has tired to refer Holly and we have tried to obtain help often at our own expense we are in a position where Holly really needs support now. We recently paid for a private test which confirmed Austic masking, hyper empathy, alexithymia, anxiety and depression, sensory processing issues, introception and issues with executive functioning. The school is mainly focusing on attendance. so we have horse therapy which is 6 sessions for £450 which Equata, we have paid £370 for a dog to help holly and Mash is already helping so so much they are soul mates. However it is 1 step forward 10 steps back she has had a difficult time with being let down but services which are meant to support children such as CAMHS and to a certain extent school who focus on grades and attendance not wellbeing, some how they do not get that with all this going on Holly can't cope. So it maybe that we need to fund an Educational psychologist which would be about £250 upwards. Its a big ask but thank you in advance.
