Dear Parents, Carers and members of the local community, your willingness to help and great community spirit have always been remarkable and unique.

We feel the current situation in Ukraine requires a collective approach to achieve the greatest benefit and are therefore calling everyone to join together to support this page. We aim to raise money which will be spent on targeted items of immediate need and donated to both Ukrainian refugees in Poland and Ukrainian people fighting for their country in Ukraine.

As a School Business Manager of Charlton Kings Junior School, and being Polish, I am managing this campaign and will guarantee that any funds raised will be utilised in the best possible way to directly support Ukrainian people. We will work together with Polish and Ukrainian charities and organisations to use funds to support the items or areas of greatest need and requirements.

As you may have noticed, there are many pages and many pleas out there with many groups collecting for Ukraine. By doing this campaign, we want to complement those other groups by doing something a little bit different and something that directly benefits Ukrainian people.

We believe, together, we can and will make a difference. No one knows what may come next.
