Story
Hello, my name is Aya, and I am 7 years old. I have been asking my Mum and Dad for ages if I could have my hair cut off so I can donate it to make a wig for children who have lost their hair because they have had cancer. I have been growing it so that I can have 30cm cut to donate, and it is now long enough. I have also decided to try to raise some money to pay for a wig to be made. I would like to give any extra money collected to help Syrian refugees, as I have seen them so much on the news recently, and think they need us to help them.

8 years agoSo sorry it's taken so long to post an update, but here it is - SHE DID IT. 31cm cut off. The hair is packaged up ready to send, and the last day for donations is Tuesday 29th November. Just want to say a gigantic THANK YOU to you all. We are all overwhelmed by your generosity, and Aya is finding it hard to get her head round how she could have raised so much money. Your donations are going to make a huge difference to the charities that receive them. Thank you again xxx
