Paws4Thought Dog Rescue is a local Somerset-based rescue that has been changing dogs’ lives for over 12 years. We take in unwanted, abandoned, and vulnerable dogs from a variety of backgrounds, giving them the love, care, and safety they deserve.

Unlike many rescues, we don’t have kennels. Every dog is cared for in a loving foster home, where they can learn to trust, experience family life, and prepare for their forever home.

Before adoption, every dog receives:

* 🩺 Full health assessment

* 💉 Vaccinations

* 🐶 Microchipping

* 🪱 Flea and worm treatment

* ✂️ Neutering (adult dogs)

* 🦷 Dental care and any necessary surgery

It costs over £13,000 every month to keep our rescue running, with around £10,000 spent on veterinary bills alone. We rely entirely on the kindness of our community through donations, fundraising events, our volunteer-run shop, and adoption fees.
