Our friend, Katherine Marsden-Broad (Kat), tragically took her own life a few days ago. She was so lovely, inspirational and brilliant at anything she set her mind to, but suffered from depression and didn’t believe how wonderful she was.

She was a wife, mother, friend and teacher. She loved the outdoors - hiking, kayaking, wild swimming, running, helping children with D of E....you name it, she did it!

We’re running a half marathon on Sat 12 Dec'20 for Kat to raise awareness and funds for the two charities named below. We will split the total amount raised equally between them.

One of these is a charity very close to Kat & her husband Steve’s hearts for personal reasons: The Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disabilty in London.

The other charity is The Samaritans. Please please reach out to someone if you‘re struggling.
