I've raised £200 to help remember Anna by raising funds for the Myrovlytis Trust which will be used to fund vital research for rare diseases.

Anna was a spectacularly warm, intelligent and kind person. She will be remembered by her family who adored her, the many friends she helped, encouraged and challenged, and the countless others who shared happy moments in her company. She loved spending time camping with her son Sammy and shopping with her daughter Roshan, enjoying tapas in Spain, and walking with their dog Coco on the vast north Norfolk beaches which she called her haven.
At work, Anna was the CEO of the Myrovlytis Trust. Before this she worked as a scientist at UCL, in scientific publishing and educational events and outreach. She completed her PhD in cancer genetics at the Medical Research Council in Edinburgh.
Anna met her future husband Tom on her first day in Edinburgh and they have been inseparable since.
Alongside all of these great strengths, Anna was fiercely brave and positive. She strove against cancer for years, never took 'no' for answer, and continued an active life far beyond the prognosis given to her. We were inspired by her ability to smile, fight on, and live on- we will continue to be inspired by her memory.
