Story

Shere Open Gardens is an annual event that usually takes place on the last Sunday of June, when over 20 beautiful gardens in the delightful Surrey village of Shere welcome visitors to raise money for local causes.

Due to the pandemic, the gardens did not be opening this year, but to give would-be visitors a chance to get a taste for the gardens they have missed this year, we offer you a gallery of images on the Shere Open Gardens website (www.shereopengardens.co.uk).

We would be most grateful for any donation as many of the causes we support rely on our event for the bulk of their funding and we would like to be able to help them again this year.

The causes we support include:

Shere & Local Villages Health Trust (SALV)

Shere Infant School and Nursery

Shere Little Ducklings Toddler Group

Shere Swimming Pool Club

Shere & Gomshall Scouts and Guides

Shere Recreation Ground Association

Shere Cricket Club

Shere Museum

Shere Good Companions

Shere & Gomshall Veterans

Shere Over 65’s Christmas Party

Shere Enhancement Fund

SWS Mobile Physiotherapy Service
