Story
Animal Aid Unlimited is a life-changing place for both people and animals in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.
Founded in 2002, their mission is to rescue and treat the un-owned street animals of Udaipur who have become ill or injured, and through their rescue inspire a community to protect and defend the lives of all animals.
Animal Aid Unlimited runs a vital emergency rescue service for street animals—dogs, cows, donkeys, birds, and cats—in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. Their rescue team respond to up to 20 calls every day, rescuing animals with fractures, spinal injuries, wounds, skin problems, and other diseases.
Rescued animals are brought back to their shelter where they are treated by their medical team and care-givers. They perform emergency surgeries as well as spay/neuter. On any given day they treat around 150 recovering animals in their shelter.
For rescued animals who are permanently disabled or too fragile to be returned to their neighborhood, they are welcomed home in Animal Aid’s sanctuary.
I would love the opportunity to support this amazing charity by spending two weeks in at the sanctuary in India, helping out with all kinds of jobs including, cleaning out the kennels, fussing and cuddling the animals and supporting with the life saving operations these animals need to survive.
