from Murdo:On September 6 th it is my intention to cycle from Vatersay to the Butt of Lewis in order to raise funds for Shafiqua and her family in Kabul.She is a sister to Mohammad who lived here until recently.With countless others she hopes for a day when their nightmare existance will be over.Recently she survived a car accident that claimed the lives of her husband and three others.With seven children to care for now and one who is blind, unable to work and homeless,her situation daily is desperate. The children sleep at night, hungry with pain in theirstomachs through lack of food.
