Story
I’m raising money for Andover Community Engage (ACE), a charity that is incredibly close to my heart. My mum lives with dementia and attends ACE a couple of times a week, where she enjoys spending time with others, taking part in seated exercise classes, playing games, and simply sharing a cup of tea and a biscuit with friendly faces. Those few hours make such a difference to her happiness, confidence and wellbeing, and knowing she has somewhere safe, welcoming and supportive means so much to our family.
ACE does so much more than support people living with dementia. Every week they help hundreds of local people through their Community Pantry, Clothing & Baby Bank, youth centre, parent and baby groups, wellbeing sessions, family support, holiday activities, money advice and so much more. For many, it’s a lifeline—a place to find friendship, practical support and hope when they need it most.
Sadly, ACE is at risk of closing without urgent funding. If you’ve ever wondered whether a donation can make a difference, this is one of those times when it truly can. Every pound will help keep these vital services running for the people in our community who rely on them every single day.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and for any support you can give—whether that’s making a donation or simply sharing this page. It really does mean the world to me, my family, and so many others in our community.
