In loving memory of Anne, and in lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations which will be shared between two causes that were deeply meaningful to her, and reflect her lifelong spirit of giving.

Anne was a proud and active member of the Inner Wheel club of Morpeth for 41 years (and 4 years in York before that!). Through Inner Wheel, she found not only friendship and companionship, but also a strong sense of purpose in supporting others and contributing to the local community. She also greatly enjoyed attending the annual Inner Wheel conferences, which were a highlight for her and an opportunity to connect with the wider community. It was a place where she truly felt she belonged.

In more recent years, Anne attended the Royal Voluntary Service dementia care drop-in centre in Cramlington. The sessions became an important part of her routine, providing a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment. The kindness, patience, and understanding shown by the staff and volunteers made a real difference to her comfort and wellbeing, and brought reassurance to our family.

Both of these organisations represent the care, community, and support that Anne shared, and later received, throughout her life. If you are able to contribute, your support will help them continue their invaluable work for others, and provide a fitting legacy.
