Story

I am volunteering on a medical camp with Patchworking Against Poverty which is a charity that provides medical clinics in Kenya. The week long camp happening in March 2019 will involve 6 clinics in 6 separate village locations, in the remote tea growing highlands of Kenya, East Africa. Over the course of the week we will see approximately 4000 patients, treating minor injuries and illnesses, making referrals to hospitals, treating dental problems and offering family planning advice.

The money raised here will go towards the costs of the medical camp, which in total costs around £7000. (i.e. this money will NOT go towards personal costs such as flights).

Please go to: http://www.patchworkingagainstpoverty.org/ for more information about the charity.
