Story

In 2016, it was estimated that over a quarter of a million people in England are homeless. Myself and Hannah Hanson intend to make their lives a little easier.

We want to create care packages full of everyday essentials which homeless people may not have access to. However, we aren't satisfied with short-term help. We have a much larger aim: to promote free sanitary products for homeless women. Therefore, it is imperative that we are able to offer women pads, tampons, and/or menstrual cups, which may be ideal for many homeless women due to how they do not need to be purchased every month. Aside from these products, our packs will consist of essentials such as deodorant, soap, flannels, toothbrush, toothpaste and food vouchers, to name just a few. But, we are unable to do this without donations towards our cause.

Women aren't able to stop menstruating when things get tougher than ever. For homeless women, it is not always possible to buy sanitary products as they are not cheap, and are unlikely to be prioritised over other necesities such as food.

Please follow our link to a petition for free sanitary products.

Thank you
