My son Daniel and his partner Megan have two dogs, Tyson and Lexi, they are brother and sister and only 11 months old. Little Tyson became seriously ill a week ago, we rushed him to our local vets who proceeded to do tests on him, and found that he had eaten insulation material which contained a small amount of poison, with poor Tyson unable to eat, drink,he became very weak and his Glucose level would not settle it was touch and go for his survival, the vets managed to stabilize him for a few hours but his body was not strong enough to hold this up and he has gone back down hill again . The vets were unable to help Tyson and further at their practise and advised that he should be refered to Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists in Winchester for further investigation to find out what is happening to his body that it can't get stable. My son and his girlfriend are devastated by the whole thing, all they are desperately wanting the best possible help for their little baby. Their other dog Lexi is now not eating and missing Tyson so much. My son has used all his savings which was going towards getting married next year, but their dreams have been placed on hold because all they care about now is getting their little baby well again and all their savings has now been spent on the vet bills. We were give a cost from the Vet Specialists of about £5,000 to cover what they think they will need to do for Tyson immediately, the vets has mentioned that an operation (which we were told could be lightly) this will cost in the region of 4,000 and this is impossible for my son to raise so the result would be if we couldn't raise this amount, little Tyson will be put to sleep. Please Please can you help my son, he is so terribly worried that Tyson will not make it if he does not come up with the funds needed for the medical help that Tyson urgently needs. We all want this little chap back to be reunited with his little sister who misses him so very much and to us his loving family.
