This is Jorja-Rose she was born in jan 2015 she was a very bubbly baby but in march this year she got poorly.... she had countless trips to her doctors and local hospital with different diagnosis all the time...she had stopped walking and was very lethargic..in April this year mummy took her bk to the doctors and demanded a refferal to the hospital again as she was getting worse at 14 mths she was diagnosed with a brain tumour..she has under gone brain surgery....7 rounds of chemo...countless blood transfusions..bone marrow rescue...stem cell harvest and recently a very strong concoction of chemo...this last chemo has made her very poorly...before this latest chemo Jorja would fly threw her other rounds of chemo... although she needed to have blood transfusions it never seemed to faze her...she always had a smile on her face...Jorja has 5 other siblings...it has been as harrowing for them as it has for mummy and daddy...for the first 6 weeks after diagnosis mummy n daddy never left the hospital...but they knew they had to eventually as the other children were missing them terribly...they set a rota up where they would take it in turns and have a day at home with the other children and a day at the hospital with their poorly princess...this means that mummy n daddy only see each other when swapping over...but at least they both get time with all their children.. a recent 2 week stay in a hospital that was a 2 hour round trip meant that it was 2 days at hospital or home...Jorja is finally showing tiny signs of picking up. We (family friends and well wishes) have done events to raise money for the family and for cancer charities.including the Brave the Shave where Jorja's mummy shaved her hair off to be like her princess who through the chemo had lost all her hair...I think it would be nice to raise some money to help them ease the burden of christmas as daddy had to give up work when Jorja got ill....
