Nettie’s Wrekin Challenge:
I’m fundraising for a personal cause. This is a first for me. However, I’d like you to support my challenge.
Former Chronic Fatigue/ME sufferer Annette is climbing The Wrekin, a hill near Telford with Bonnie, her Westie and a few friends. The Wrekin dominates the landscape around Telford, rising to 1,334ft (406.6m). JRR Tolkien is known to have climbed The Wrekin while writing ‘The Lord of The Rings’ and part of The Wrekin is thought to have been the inspiration behind The Shire.

The challenge aims to raise money for Annette’s Psychology Postgraduate Diploma course. By achieving this qualification, Annette will gain membership with the British Psychological Society (BPS), which is vital to enable her to continue working as a Specialist Mentor; supporting students with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) or mental health challenges in Higher Education.
The course is for two years, and the total fees are £5,970. Annette would like to raise £2,985 to cover the first year fees. The course starts 28/01/2019 and fees need to be paid before that date.
Annette is completing workouts to get fit for the event that will take place Sunday 2nd December 2018, weather permitting.
