Story

In 26 days I will be walking 100k (yes, 62 miles !). Starting in Poole, I walk 36 miles to Weymouth, where I am then treated to the luxury of a few hours sleep in a one man tent. I wake again at 5am to continue the remaining 26 miles to Bridport. The journey is long and I'll be climbing and descending some pretty steep hills on tired and weary legs.
Why you may ask....it began as wanting to do a challenge in my 40th year (yes I'm only just in time aren't I !). I've begun doing some long training walks and realise how hard it is being on your feet walking for this amount of hours up and down hills and on uneven terrain. I never intended to ask for sponsorship but this amount of effort seems wasted to do it just for my own 40th year challenge when I could also be raising some money for a worthy cause or three !! So if you would like to, I would be very grateful if you would help me raise some money for research into Parkinsons Disease, Huntingdons and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). I haven't given us much time, so if you can, please take a couple of minutes now and donate via the link. Thank you all very much :-)
