Emily is doing a sponsored slim to raise money to pay for a wheelchair for her husband Chris. He has MND and needs a new chair for comfort, (he spends most of his time in his chair) and one he can attach a power drive to, to enable him to get out and about more. We are also raising money for the power drive and plan to do more fundraising events. You can get details of her sponsored slim on her Facebook page.

The fundraising is to help Chris O'Flaherty. Chris has had MND for 11 years. He has lost his mother and brother to this terrible disease. A few years ago he did the Great North Run in his wheelchair raising money for MND. As MND progresses sufferers need more and more support.
