I've raised £1000 to assist the charity GGSDR with the veterinary expenses for Baloo, who has short ulna syndrome, faulty bone growth in both of his front legs.

Hi… my name is Baloo and I desperately need your help.
So, please take a couple of minutes to read my story, as it took me a very long time to write it!!!
Unfortunately, I have short ulna syndrome, which means that I have faulty bone growth in both my front legs. However, I don’t let this get me down. I am still healthy, extremely friendly, very active and according to my carer, sometimes a bit mischievous!!!
Although I am only 20 months old, I have had several operations to help straighten and strengthen my bones and apparently, I will need a few more.
Everyone says that I am very brave and doing really well but I know that all the care and medical fees are draining the resources of the amazing Garbo’s German Shepherd Dog Rescue (GGSDR)
This is why I have created this page as I think and hope that you might want to help me.
Some nice people have offered to hold a raffle to raise some funds at the Littlewick Show, Bottle Meadow, Knowl Hill, Berkshire. RG10 9YJ on Monday 27th August 2018 but we need to sell as many tickets as possible. Tickets are £1 each and there are numerous prizes to be won, ranging from free tickets to various tourist attractions, a signed book by the famous dog trainer Robert Alleyne (Dog Borstal), a baby or pet photo shoot, a huge cuddly lion, M&S vouchers and many more! The raffle will be drawn at the end of the show on Monday 27th August 2018.
If you are kind enough to buy a ticket / tickets, a copy of the ticket(s) will be emailed to you and all winning ticket numbers will be posted on this page. If you are lucky enough to win, you will be notified of your prize via email. So please remember to "opt in" to share your email address with me.
You may not be interested in the raffle and may just want to make a donation instead? This of course will be extremely appreciated and you will get a special mention in the GGSDR Quarterly Newsletter.
Alternatively, you may wish to subscribe to the GGSDR Quarterly Newsletter. This is packed full of useful information about all dogs and is only £12 for the whole year.
