In 2011 Annie & James received the news that Annie stage 2B Cervical Cancer & following a course of Chemo, Radio & Brachytherapy Annie would no longer be able to reproduce/carry their babies naturally. They were extremely fortunate to be given a course of IVF Christmas Eve that same year & 2 weeks later they found out they had 44 eggs available for fertilisation. Annie underwent the next stage of IVF & after her eggs were harvested they were able to fertilise 24 of her eggs & they are now the proud parents to 24 frozen Embryos.

Such was Annie's disease that she no longer has a functioning womb or uterus so a Surrogate Mother is necessary if she & James are to complete their dream of becoming Parents.

The Swindon Storks have been born!

The Swindon Storks are a Fundraising Running Team made up of Annie & James, Annie's Brother Jim & his Partner Lara, Annie's Brother Zander & Sister in-law Emma, Brother-in-law Dave & close friends Amy, Becca, Doug & Lucia 😍

The Swindon Storks Maiden Flight will be the Swindon Half Marathon 2017 Sept 3rd....
For the majority of them this will be their first ever Half Marathon & the first time some of them will have ever trained for a run of any length before.
