Story

There are some incredible changes taking place at Horizon over the coming months and we are more than excited to be in the position of offering bigger and better things to those in recovery! It is not something we take lightly. The benefits of developing and exploring creativity within the realms of recovery are well documented and we have seen first hand the incredible success of our previous courses. Not only have many students gone on to find employment and careers as a result, but in house research shows us that mental health and well being is substantially improved, thus supporting ongoing freedom from a life of substance misuse. We have been running successful courses for the last four years and feel privileged to have had more than 46 students through our doors. We want to better that. WE NEED YOUR HELP!

This of course costs money and we rely totally on the generosity and support of funding partners.

We are extremely grateful to have been offered sponsored places in the 2023 Brighton Marathon on April 9th by one of our wonderful partners ENJOOLATA. Over and above this they have agreed to MATCHFUND every penny we raise independently. For every pound you donate ENJOOLATA will match it!

The potential here is huge. The more you give the more we can give back! We firmly believe that is how Recovery works. Every single penny goes back to supporting those within the Recovery community.

Over the last years we have become more & more recognised within external communities. Short listed for several awards, filmed and documented large scale events including UWL and 2020 Vision Project.

Please help us to support more people in 2023 by giving whatever you can to this incredible cause.

Our illustrious leader Annie Murray will be running alongside others and proving that, Together We Can Change Lives….
