I've raised £1000 to fund my trip to Calais for Christmas

Instead of spending Christmas with my family this year, I have decided to spend it volunteering with the refugees in Calais. Why? Because it's simple. They need me more than my family do. I can use my skills as a teacher, first aider, Mental Health first aider, musician, comedian and linguist to make their Christmases happier and healthier, so why wouldn't I? Also, I make a bloody good brew and am not half bad at sorting donations/chopping vegetables.
I am so excited to spend Christmas & New Year's with them, making their Christmas as special as one I'd have at home, but will need some help - the ferry crossing alone in my van costs £250.00. I'll also need diesel costs, accommodation costs and food costs.
No amount is too small. If you were planning to buy me a drink / get me some chocolate / something else for Christmas, I'd be so grateful if you could, instead, donate the cost of that item to this fund.
I'll be posting more information in the days to come, but for now, happy donating!
Best wishes,
Annie
