I've raised £5000 to help towards replacing Joe Taylor's stolen kart, engines and equipment.

Joe was spotted by the MSA "as an athlete with the potential to achieve excellence." and placed, without interview, on the MSA Academy AASE Programme at Loughborough college. One of the main conditions is that he continues to race alongside his course.
Joe's kart and equipment, £13,000+ worth, was stolen on the 1st September and we can't afford to replace all this equipment. Please, please help fund a replacement kart and equipment even if it's just a £1, £2 or £5 with our great community we can help him fulfil a dream. That nowadays is just loose change in people's pockets so lets show these criminals that they can't destroy a young kid's dream. I've lined up a really good, secondhand, top class kart chassis and engine so I'm not expecting to raise the full £13,000+.
Joe started racing in Cadets when he was 9/10 years of age and did a full year at club level where the only one rising up through the ranks as fast as him was Joe Turney (National S1 Champion.) Joe won 6 Novice trophies and has won many other trophies along the way.
With a 4 year break from karting, due to the lack of funds, he came back into ("The family") Junior TKM with a bang! Even though we could only afford half the club events he was more or less straight onto the pace with the top drivers who had been doing it full time for 4 - 7 years! Nothing or nobody ever phases or intimidates him. He possesses utter shear grit and determination even when he's got full blown tonsillitis, in a heat wave, and zero energy he's in reach of a trophy!
Joe is one of a kind. He's well known around the karting community and well loved as he's always wearing a smile on his face and loves cheering people up. A lovely, young, positive gentleman I often get complements about. (Any complaints please inform me - lol.)
Joe's a true fighter and has had to achieve things with a low budget and not as much track time as others. Lately we often turned up to club events and raced with no practice beforehand and he still got onto the podium. He won the Kimbolton pre-"O" plate (British GP equivalent) club event this year this way and won the first two heats in the main "O" plate races. The "O" plate final saw him sadly out of contention in a racing incident on lap2.
Joe deserves to get into the top flight of motorsport, however, we now need your kindness and support to help give Joe the best chance to fight for his dreams and stay and continue at loughborough college. With numbers we can reach this target. Please share and spread the news. Power to the people!
All funds go to Joe's Motorsport.
