You might not be aware but an essential part of the school's funds are generated through various activities throughout the school year. This is often in the form of School Discos, Christmas Fayre, Summer Fayre, Raffles and other Parent Teacher Association events.

However, over the past year, as a result of the pandemic, this has meant that none of these events have been able to take place.

So, as Headteacher, I have decided to take on The Nine Edges Challenge on Saturday 12th June 2021 to raise funds for the benefit of children at Anston Park Infant School.

The Nine Edges Challenge is to walk along the ridge of nine prominent edges: Derwent, Stanage, Upper Burbage, Lower Burbage, Froggatt, Curbar, Baslow, Gardoms and Birchen Edges in the Peak District, Derbyshire. The route is around 23 miles and will take approximately 10 to 12 hours continuous walking to complete.

Any money you pledge will be greatly appreciated and used wisely to support the children of Anston Park Infant School. Thank You
