Weʼre raising £2,000 to build a Daily Mile Track at our local infant school helping our children to be fitter, healthier and happier.
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
In April 2019 I am running the London Marathon in support of the local children of Radcliffe on Trent. I am raising money for a Daily Mile Track to be built at Radcliffe Infant School, helping the next generation of the community to have a positive attitude towards health, fitness and mental wellbeing.
The Daily Mile is 15 minutes where children jog or run, at their own pace around the track, during the school day. The aim of The Daily Mile is to improve the physical, social, emotional and mental health and wellbeing of our children – regardless of age, ability or personal circumstances.
These valuable lessons will not only improve the children’s fitness, but also their concentration levels, mood, behaviour and general wellbeing, implementing skills and attitudes that will stay with them for life.
Thank you for your support.
