I am helping to raise enough money by walking up Scafell Pike on 1st October so that the young people who attend Croxteth Gems Senior Club can go on a educational trip to Poland . During this trip they will visit the Auschwitz site where they will learn about the history of what happened during World War II. The trip is to put into perspective the enormity of the number of victims that were cruelly imprisoned in what was the biggest atrocity in European history.

The young people who will be going have been doing a project at Gems about this, the Young People will have knowledge and would of seen a play here in Liverpool before the trip. As someone who has been to Auschwitz as a young person on a similar trip, I think its extremely important that other young people are given the same opportunity.
