I've raised £1000 to help pay for venues, authors, illustrators, and publicity for Tamworth Literary Festival, March 2019.

From March 4th to 9th 2019, we present Tamworth's fourth annual literary festival. As ever there is something for everyone. March sees the return of old favourites such as the ever popular crime night, an evening of poetry and story-telling, and something for children of all ages.
In addition we will revisit the original horror story, a candlelit performance of Mary Shelley's The Modern Prometheus with superb actors portraying the author and her two famous creations, Dr Frankenstein and his famous monster. And the week opens with an exclusive preview of the coming biography of Tamworth's most famous benefactor, William MacGregor.
With further announcements to come, help us bring the written word to the people of Tamworth and surrounding areas by donating to the fund. Those who donate will receive free passes to their nominated events. Give £5 or more and receive a pass to one event; for a minimum of £10 receive passes to two events; £25 gives you access to the whole week; while £40 will entitle you to entry to all the festival week PLUS all the fringe events planned for 2019. In addition ALL who donate a minimum of £5 will receive a free copy of the ebooks Tamworth Street Names and Tamworth Pub Names, each selling for a pound at our website's shop where you will find full details.
You can also find images from last year's festival events at our website including Crime and Thriller Night, Comedy Night, Family Fun Day for the Children, Romance and Women's Fiction, together with details of the recent Mary Shelley portrayal at Tamworth Castle. Clearly this is something you will want to be a part of and we will be delighted to see you there so donate today to secure your seat.
