“Through his eyes” is a journey I will be taking in memory of my good friend Khaleefa a proud and devout Muslim who was taken from us last year by cancer in his 30’s leaving behind a young family. I myself am not Muslim however for the holy month of Ramadan I will be fasting everyday 😳 (yes for the full 30 days) and performing my own prayers not only in memory of Khaleefa but also to raise awareness of cancer and to raise some funds to go to his Wife and children. For those that know me know that this is not going to be easy for a man that eats 5-6 times per day and trains but the cause is fully worth it. Sunrise is upon us and I have already prayed (my own) and had my pre-dawn Suhur (meal before fast starts), taken a double dose of my Premium capsules and two massive glasses of water. That’s it now bellies full but it has to last until Iftar (break my fast) at sunset where I will have a light meal then maybe a heavier one later on after praying again.
