Story
After attending a selection weekend in October 2017, I was thrilled to be chosen to represent Scouts from South Wales at the World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity but costs over £3500. The majority of this covers my personal costs but a small part goes to a contingency fund to allow Scouts and Guides from Developing countries to attend. I have an obligation to meet part of this cost which I have been doing through selling badges, holding raffles, packing bags at supermarkets with the rest of the group and in June I will be walking up Snowdon and Pen Y Fan in one day (highest mountains in North and South Wales) with my father.
I still have a way to go and would be grateful for any support.
Thanks
