Our darling Freddie died on the 25th February after a two-year battle with cancer. Dad befriended the entire team at Viking Day Unit, where he felt at ease during a very difficult time. The staff cared for him with such love, compassion and kindness – we will be forever grateful and Viking will hold a very special place in our hearts.

If possible, we would also like to raise enough money to purchase a bench to be situated along the beautiful Palm Bay seafront; providing a place for family & friends to come and join Fred, ‘The Magic Man’, to partake in one of his favourite past-times, ‘people watching’ and reflect on many a happy memory of time spent with such a wonderful, witty, clever, courageous, fun-loving, but most of all…family man.

We invite you to join us in a celebration of Fred’s life at a service to be held on Tuesday 12th March at 1pm - Thanet Crematorium, CT9 4LY
