Story
Anthony Davies Childhood Bereavement
We support children (particularly primary school aged) and their families who are navigating the loss of someone significant. Our aim is to offer real help, real conn
ection, and real hope—for kids and those who care for them.
What We Do
* Stay & Play / Drop-in Bereavement Cafés
Safe spaces for young children to express themselves through play, arts & crafts, creativity, and gentle connection with others.
* Emotions, Grief & Wellbeing Workshops
Helping children understand and manage grief. Supporting parents/carers with tools to guide their child emotionally.
* Mindfulness, Breathwork & Nature Sessions
Sessions aimed at emotional wellbeing for children and for parents/carers—because healing works best when the caregivers are supported too.
* Support for Parents & Carers
Widows/Widowers groups, peer support, meditation, wellbeing walks—helping those who have lost a partner, recognising their strength is part of the children’s healing.
Our Story
In May 2023, Anthony Davies died suddenly,
leaving behind his young daughter. Lisa (Anthony’s wife) saw how little help existed for children under five facing grief, and this inspired her to create this charity. She’s since gathered professional insights, trained in childhood trauma and bereavement, and built a range of support options to ensure no child or parent faces this journey alone.
Why We Need Your Support
To provide monthly, no-cost sessions & workshops
To ensure parents/carers have access to vital support colleagues & community
To reach more communities so no child or family is left without help
To offer partnerships and materials to schools and early years settings so the supportive environment extends beyond just our sessions.
How Your Donation Helps
Every contribution means:
more sessions for children to express grief safely
more training for parents & carers to support their children’s emotional journey
more resources (crafts, mindfulness tools, trained facilitators)
stability for families when they feel most alone.
