Anthony is a Scout and this year his group - 1st Marston Green, their Explorer unit and Water Orton Scout Group - together known as SWOT (Solihull & Water Orton Team) are off to Haarlem Jamborette on an International Adventure. As part of going on this great opportunity, all scouts going need to raise at least £100. To do this, Anthony has decided to do a sponsored 40 mile bike ride. This will be mostly along our great canal network around Birmingham, starting from his home in Kingshurst through to JLR - Solihull picking up the Grand Union Canal into Birmingham. From the city centre picking up the Worcester & Birmingham Canal onto the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal and then onto the River Cole back to The Grand Union Canal to Catherine-De-Barnes onto the roads back home passing through Marston Green on the way.

The Haarlem Jamborette is a brilliant opportunity for all scouts from around the world. You can meet new people, see the sights in and around Haarlem and take part in a variety of activities.
