Byron is a long serving colleague and employee who I've been lucky enough to work with for 26 years. Just over three years ago his life was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with lung cancer, after several rounds of treatment and having his lung removed he fought back and returned to work, unfortunately he then had a terrible stroke and lost the use of his left side, but he still didn't give in and was fighting back when he was hit by three seizures in quick succession. His determination knew no boundaries and he is still hoping to return to work this summer in some capacity. His attitude to life and his determination to return to work is amazing. Then he got the final piece of terrible luck he didn't deserve when he employed a local builder to complete some essential work on his house to help make life easier, unfortunately the builder went into administration along with over 40,000 of Byron's money that were all his life savings and to compound the problem the work the builder did complete has been condemned by the building inspector. I'm walking for Byron to try and raise the money to get these essential works re-done and completed so please support my walk for my great employee and colleague.
