Story

Dear All, thank you for taking the time to read this:

My cousin has given birth to a lovely baby girl, Antosia, who was unfortunately born with missing fingers due to a condition called amniotic band syndrome.

During my cousins pregnancy, Antosia’s fingers were caught up and entangled in string-like bands. This caused abnormalities that were present at birth.

We have been enquiring about surgeries which could help to make her hands to look a little more similar to other children's hands, so we could provide her with a better start in life.

The doctor has recommended a surgery of releasing the bands to enable the affected fingers to grow without any more restrictions! At the moment she has scars/bands constricting 4 of her fingers and this surgery will allow her fingers to continue to grow more naturally.

We have an opportunity to carry out the surgery in Poland which would only cost £2500. This is a very small price to give Antosia a better chance to live more of a normal life.

We are hoping everyone can donate at least the price of a cup of coffee…. £1-£2.

Thank you for your time & support.

If you are unable to donate could you at least share this page so we can reach as many people as possible in order to reach our target quicker and get little Antosia the surgery she needs.

Thank you,

Anna, Agata, Matti & little baby Antosia
