I've raised £250 to Help the community in Granada, Nicaragua

Nicaragua, one of the poorest nationals in Central America, is currently going through huge political crisis. The authoritarian government's reaction to calls for the President to step down has resulted in extreme state-directed police brutality, with over 170 dead and 2100 injured. The streets in many cities are no longer safe, schools are closed and access to food and water is no longer guaranteed.
La Esperanza Granada is an organisation which works in the city of Granada, Nicaragua to improve prospects for children through education. I spent almost a year volunteering at La Esperanza in 2011 and it is a cause very close to my heart.
At a time of such upheaval, the charity is in desperate need of extra donations to be able to sustain the work they do. In order to try and help with this, I've decided to run 10k (a huge deal for me) here in Bari in October...
Anything you can spare would make a huge difference. Thanks so much
